Driving to work this morning and my drivers headlight goes out. So im not sure if its a ballast problem or a bulb. (Tryed turning them off then on a few times, even tryed hitting the headlight lol) anywho I was looking on line for replacements and came across the d2s bulbs. (Just started learning about the Hid's this morning) so I read that the d2s bulb will fit in a 04 housing if you make a little notch on the side. So now this is were I ran out of info hahhaha... will my 2004 ballast work the the "S" bulb (plug and play?) and how will the light look since its meant for a closed housing and ill be using it for a reflector/projection housing? Did multiple searches. If this has already been discussed please point me in the right direction.
