quick question,
i have 03 tail lights and i wanted to make my tail lights brighter. would switching the halogen bulbs for LED bulbs make them brighter? would the break lights still work? anyone have experience with this? thanks.

dont have the money at the moment. just a temporary upgrade for now before switching. the question is simply asking about the functionality of changing the bulb. will it work or not?

If you switch to LED bulbs, you will have to get resistors to keep the voltage/resistance in the system the same, this is for 03 - 05s, as they didn't come stock with LEDs like the 06+ did.
I found this out a few years ago after installing the LED bulbs, and mine would engage the brakes on its own between 3000 - 5000RPM...![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon08.gif)
Here's another thread on here that explains it...
