Default Paint Code AX6...Laser Red or Redline Red?

I'm looking for some touchup paint for my 350z, and when i search for AX6, I pull up Laser Red and Redline Red. The guy I bought from said it was Redline Red, and I am pretty sure that's what I need...but is it the same as Laser Red? I'm suspecting that they used the exact same paint on the G35, but gave it the name Laser Red.

Any suggestions on where to get the best price on it, or maybe an application tutorial would be great.

That's why the paint codes exist - it give you a standard to purchase by. The color "names" are made up and vary between models and Nissan vs Infiniti.

Thanks for the replies. I GUESSED that was the case...but didn't want to rely on that. I'd rather hear it from people that KNOW it's the same color with different name.

So far, none of the local parts stores carry AX6, but I'm finding it online a few places. It looks like ebay may be the best option.

You should try your local dealer or courtesy parts:
