Default HELP, Spedometer doesn't fit

Hey Guys.

Ever since i bought my car i've had some problems with the interior having some gaps.. i original thought it was the dash board beeing twisted for some reason, but today i was putting everything back together i noticed when i installed the speedometer i had to push it very hard to get it in, and it acctually bends the dash and makes things sit off..

I have a 2003 Entusiast model, but im not sure what Speedometer i should buy? i have a MPH the car was delivered with and later i've bought a KM/h speedo since i live in Denmark - Europe..

Can any of you guys point me in the right direction on where to look up what the exact speedometer should be called.. so i can figure out what i am doing wrong.

Thank you.

Trying to explain it a little better. The speedometer hits the plastic cover sitting behind it.. it then pushes down on the plastic behind it make it impossible to fit the lower plastic panel correct.. Huge headache

Your English is much better than my Danish, but a picture could be worth a thousand words here.

Could you take a picture showing the problem and post it here? I think you will get more help.

Thanks. --Spike

The speedo you got may be for a RHD car and not fit properly in a LHD car, look at the housing between the two speedo's you have. You may be able to change the housings between the two.

hmm both housings have identical frames.. thats my problem.. and the SKU's says CD000 on the plastic parts.

the mp/h speedo says CD001
and the km/h says CD800

Not sure why they would make a km/h speedo for a rhd since in japan its 180km/h max and well, UK uses mph

a small video of my issue.

Been thinking if it was possible to maybe lower the dashboard a tiny bit would solve this issue? not sure if its possible or not? i had the entire dashboard removed from the car earlier but it kinda feels like it can only go in at one possition
