I have an 03 350z. It's been bothering me so much about the Center Console.

Could I put an 08 Center Console in an 03? I just want that holder so I can hold my phone and stuff in place.

If an 08 Doesn't fit an 03 than, May I ask what year fits it?

Yea, you can swap the center. Any year 06-08 will fit. Just be sure to get the appropriate trim regarding your transmission.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to replace the gauges and all of that too.

 

and the hazard button is in front of the shifter i think

 

The major question I have about your question is not if the 08 console
will fit its where you will find a 08 console and the cost&labor to do the
conversion.
All this so it has a place for your phone&stuff.
To be sure,there a prolly some wrecked Z's in a salvage yard someplace.
But,you may be thinking "A-Z",and thinking more about the Z without
all it will take for the letters in between.

Concept Z sells the entire conversion kit. MT or AT. Kinda pricey tho. Better off buying used parts and putting it all together imo.

I would surely like to know as well. LOL..Its annoying when the lid is left open,cant hear or see new notifications on your phone if closed.. But hey to each their own

 

Why not just mod your coin tray to hold your phone..etc

You can cut out the bottom or remove it and you phone should fit in there just fine.

 

Just keep the one that came with your car and buy a waterfall cubby? o.O You can get them from totaled Z's pretty cheap..

 

All this for a phone holder? Set the thing in your lap or in the door cubby. I've got an otter box on mine and it sets in the door cubby just fine and I can reach it and hear it.

 

I've been thinking about doing this.... Not for the phone holder lol, I just like the way the 06+ look

 

You need to replace the entire setup to use any of the pieces, not worth it if you just want to hold your phone in place.

I made this with just some velcro and an A/C vent clip, it's worked for 5 years
