Default any DIY on g35 splashguard install

well its pretty obvious that installing a g35 splash guard only takes two bolts and 3m tape.
but for some reason my splash guards arent forming to my bumper.
can someone give me some tips on how to keep the splash guard from separating from the 3m tape? or is there any other bolts besides the ones in the front of the bumper that I should be putting on? HELP!
please and thank you

ur supposed to dice off the bottom part on the insides so theres nothing blocking it from forming to the bumper
