Cracked "Pillar A" Exterior Trim Piece! What do I do?
I had some people break into my 08 red 350z on christmas day. I've repaired all of the damage with the exception of the "pillar a". Its the external plastic trim piece that runs in between the driver window and the roof of the car.
When the broke into the car they put a vertical crack right down the middle of the piece that broke it in two. I've been quoted $250 to fiberglass it back together and paint it. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on another route? I've searched ebay but nothing seems to come up when I search "pillar a"
Thanks

IMO,is buy a CF(carbon fiber)cover.Cost about 60 bucks for a pair.
Will fix the damage in minutes plus your car will look better with the added CF!
Also, there seems to be some confusion on pillars.
What you are describing is the "B" pillar. The "A" pillar
is at the front of the car next to the windshield.

Nope, he's describing the A-pillar.
And I believe vendors need to sponsor the site before you can keep spamming people with their info.
From TOU:

I think it's the B Pillar cover piece he is describing. A picture from @campbmic would be helpful.
If I have this right, the most economical fix is "glassing" the pieces. That is a repair, but the glassing is stronger than the pieces, so you do not need to worry about the repair strength.

Find a used one and paint will probably be the cheapest way to go.
