Ok....so i painted the inside of my head lights and the paint came out really nice but the lends on the lights began to flak......is there any way to fix this problem? I was doing some reading on some other forums and some people said they used "3m headlight restoration kit." But my ? is this; After using the "3M Headlight Restoration Kit" do i have to spray on clear coat or anything else to protect the headlights?

 

I have never heard of headlights "flaking". Was any clearcoat type material used on them in the past?

Great results with one coat....some people got even better results and longer lasting results with a few coats

 

Vex-I think i might try that method. Ill post up some pictures tomorrow so you guys will know what i am talking about.
