Default Recommendations on car cover?

Hi all,

So a few days ago this would seem like a really stupid question to me. Anyway, would you guys recommend a type/brand of car cover to cover my black 2008 350? I live in Arizona and I don't have a tint yet, the summers here will mess up some leather interior pretty nicely. I was going to just buy a cheap one at Wal-Mart but my buddy who has a black S2000 said that's a bad idea as cheap ones could possibly scratch my car as I take it off. Is this true? If so, any recommendations on brand/type of car cover I should get then?

Covercraft Noah from bigskycarcovers.com

I'm in S. Florida, where the sun and rain can be brutal, and I've got 4 of these covers. I've also tried the Sunbrella version, but think it's too heavy and hard to handle. The Noah has been the best one I've tried, and I've been using them for over 10 years.

[Got a Coverking for my 06. Great fit, mirror pockets, cable, lock and storage bag. I don't use it if the car's wet. Love it.

Welcome to the forum, a quick search for "car cover" would have allowed you to find this thread:

I have a pretty comprehensive post within that thread that you can reference:

Thanks for the recommendations! I ended up getting a Coverlite car cover, second most premium on their four-tiered lineup. Made sure I got one that at least mentioned a soft inner layer for paint protection, got the lock too.

Post a pic up when you get it, I'm always curious to see how the other covers work on our car

Love my Evolution "Block It" cover; fit's the '07 like a glove, very light; made from a kind of like cloth mixed with paper texture, a fabric called Technalon. Blocks dust, moisture, dries fast, blocks 99% of sun rays; Actually made by the Kimberly Clark Co.!

This shows antenna section of cover hanging down due to my recent 3" replacement antenna:

It's funny I am actually at the laundrymat washing my cover and this thread was bumped

1/4 cup of simple green and a non-center mounted washing machine is all you need
