I just recently got my wideband and boost gauges installed; my interior is black and so is the pillar gauge pod. Please give picks of which you like best; I like both black and brushed silver bezels; the silver ties in all of the other brushed silver in my cab and contrasts well. Some pics:

The brushed silver does coordinate with the other silver in your cockpit.
It also makes the gauges standout. The black does look like a add-on.
Personally,I hate the "silver" used in the Z interior. It looks cheap to me.
I've done all I can to eliminate it in my car. What really dresses up the Z
interior and gives it a more expensive look is to install thin polished rings
around the gauges. Also, there is a kit made of polished aluminum that installs
around the tach/speedo.Its from the U.K.Check my vehicle pics to see a
illustration of what I'm talking about.

I'm in agreement with JCity about the brushed silver, it definitly pulls everything together and creates a factory look to it. On mine i've also fitted some brushed aluminum trim that fits around the centre vents on the dash on either side of the cubby, I'm sorta surprised no one else has tried it as it brightens up the plain interior.
