The reason I ask is because I don't like the trapazoid shape of the tail light at all. The bright red lense just accentuates that. Believe me I hate the fake chrome look of the Altezza lights just as much as anyone but the dark color of the carbon fiber ones aren't bad.
Hey if I wanted to get rice I could tape off the top point of the lense and paint it to match the car to change the shape. Oooh I know, paint the whole lense all except a circle in the middle so it looks like a Skyline tail light.

Are you kidding? I think the Z's taillights are one of the best parts of the car.

 

I absolutely agree, but to each his own I suppose. I don't think you could look at the 350Z (from ANY angle) without seeing it's massive curb appeal. The car simply possesses a great deal of beauty throughout all of its body lines.

Judging from that aspect alone (and there are obviously many other reasons), it's no secret why the car has been an instant success from day one.

However, do you really think adding something like that is worth $750.00 for LED tail lights plus a core?

 

Everyone has a different measure of value.

In the end, it comes down to what you want and what you can afford.
