Default Undershroud snapped off my v2.

During the day a bolt snappd off the passenger side of my undershroud that was attached to my V2 bumper. There were only 2 bolts holding the undershroud because the left side(driver side) didnt line up with the bolts.

However I parked my car at friends house and then at night when I was almost home the middle bolt (last bolt that was holding the shoud) snapped off and then it caused my undershroud to fold which I had to flip it back by crawling under the car. Now I dont have any bolts for the undershoud to bolt to the V2

So I was wonder if I could just tape the middle part of the shroud with 3M double sided tape. However the driver side plastic part ripped off and there are no more holes to be bolted on too. Is it okay with just the middle part tapped on? and will it affect anything if the driver side is ripped off a little.

If its the OEM plastic then the holes are torn and can't be fix...

Zspeed makes a replacement which will stand the test of time...

Here are the pics. No bolts attached and the pic where my hand is the driver side. :/ the middle and right side still touch the bottom of the V2 so I was thinking of 3M taping it.. bad idea?

Yea I was looking into that.. but you think 3M tape would last a little while? The driver side is just riped off...

Sure it will depending how heavy duty the tape it is....

Temporary fix would be to use tape (duck tape or stronger) the top and bottom of the tear. Then poke a hole where the bolt would go. Along with a washer the bolt should/will hold the undershroud back in place.

Oh like tape the tear back together so there's no gap? In the picture where my hand is, the plastic just ripped off. I can't tape it back.. There going to be a gap unless I duck tape the plastic to the bumper itself. Is it fine if there's that gap there though?

Yea man, if you don't want to get creative you might just wanna leave it off. The undershroud just keep the engine bay free from the elements. It's not needed to get the car around...

Like KingBaby said, ZSpeed makes an aluminum undershroud that would be a perfect replacement for you. I bought it with the stainless steel hardware, and that thing isn't going anywhere. If I were you, i'd throw away the plastic one and just leave it off until you can get a proper replacement.

My Zspeed aluminum piece bolted up perfectly to my V2 replica from VIS and really made the front end solid! Oil changes are amazing, 1 bolt and you have access to everything you need. Highlyyyy recommend buying one!

Why not get an aluminium strip and drill holes to suit use self tappers or nuts and bolts joining the thing together. Be a lot stronger than 3M tape. Plus it will hold it together at speed.

Hey guys thanks for the recommendations. Most likely I am going to upgrade and get the Zspeed shroud. But for now I attached bolts and nuts onto the undershroud. The passenger side and the middle still bolted up together and it hangs on just fine. Even though the driver side has the tear I was still able to bolt it onto the V2 bumper since there was another hole further back on the shroud that didnt get ripped off. Luckily the plastic undershroud has a lot of holes..

Where did you guys order your VIS v2 front bumper? From their website? I can't seem to find VIS on the forums.
