Default Question bumper

Hello !

I have a question
I am looking to replace my front and back bumper on my 08, and I found a front nismo V2 duraflex with lip and canard , brand new with my color for $350.
Is it a decent bumper and price ?

Would that fit/look ok and my stock Z ?

I never changed anything on my car but I need to replace the bumpers - they are cracked :/ and to replace and paint the OEM ones , it is freaking expensive !!!

I am such a newb ahah

Thanks for your help guys

Yes there are literally hundreds of cars with that setup

You could always just look for a used OEM front bumper through our marketplace and get that fixed rather than going aftermarket as well

Ok
Yes, I rather stay with an OEM, I posted in the marketplace but it seems to be difficult to find a used OEM though :-/ Specially already painted

The only decent one I found was the duraflex on craigstlist, nothing really on ebay !

Dura flex is a decent kit I guess. Most people hate them. They aren't nearly as strong as they advertise.. A buddy of mine has a duraflex bumper on his g35 and we literally have had to pull it off and fix it with fiberglass and bondo four times in the seven months he has had it. It keeps cracking every time it touches the ground. Fit is decent. Definitely not perfect. Look at it before you buy it, inspect for cracks or repairs. And don't expect it to be permanent.

ok, I found an front and back slightly used - they look good in picture, no cracks, dings with my color, for a total of $600 - I am not paying shipping.

What do you think ?

Thanks !

I'd definitely check it out in person first, but considering that splits into 300 a piece, duraflex's kits brand new unpainted are around that price so it's your decision

Yeah, I will not be able to check in person but as far I saw, the pictures looks pretty good.
In the end I do not want to buy an aftermarket bumper that going to fail in couple months/years (cracked paint and whatnot), plus I do not know the quality of the paint job ..
It seems a better route, even though the price is almost the same, "cheap" aftermarket painted brand new vs used OEM !
