Cleaning up my Bixenon headlights, what compound should I use??
Hey guys,
Tried polishing my headlights and looks like I failed. I don't have a drill, so used everything by hand.
I wet sanded using several different types of sandpaper from 600 grit up to 1500
I used plastix to polish by hand but the haze is there as the plastix wasn't able to polish up or get out the fine scratches left by wetsanding.
I was going to seal it after, but want to redo it so it looks brand new.
I used to have some mothers rubbing compound, its brown/mud like in color and it was for getting out small scratches on the body of the car. Can I use that or should I buy polishing compound instead, does it matter which one? And what do you guys recommend I use? Thanks!

Forget about sanding, polishing, and sealing. Once you remove the factory UV coat your headlights are done, your best solution is to buy some cheap ebay headlights and remove the lenses and transfer them to your old headlights
