That doesnt look too bad. You should take it off though, it looks ugly. Specially with those ricey turn buckles.

travlee9374, I'm sorry that you didn't get a response from us. I've checked around and can't find anything about this internally, I'd like to know who you emailed and/or spoke with.

Can you forward your details, the Concept Z order and any other information to me, and we can look into everything? If you can email me, it's josh (at) stillen.com

Thanks,

Josh

Glad to hear Stillen took care of you, Travlee. I'm not big into exterior mods, but, I do plan on buying this splitter for my Z. I hope your next one holds up in the heat.

+1 and to make it even cheaper looking they never get it painted. They just leave it with that unfinished flat black surface. I hate that fcking lip.

Make your own. The aluminum airdam/splitter on my car removes with quick releases in about 30 seconds and it didn't cost what stillen wants for theirs.

Of course, sometimes things happen, we're more than happy to take care of any issues. Not sure what's happening here, but a replacement is being sent.

Mind making a DIY thread on that?

I had a company called JoeFis Racing out of PA do it, but it wouldn't be difficult to replicate for someone with some fab skills and motivation. It is absolutely not for the street. Race car part only. It was made specifically to a set of SCCA regs for the class I run. I have some pics of the splitter going together, though. I'll post them up later.

Two pics of what it looks like now. The little hacked up license plate thing is to cover a little damage on the front. Tape would probably look better, but whatever...

Front:

From the side: We cannot extend any further than the factory body work, so the splitter/air dam is recessed to give a 2-3" splitter. Car is turning right slightly in the pic. The splitter, car, etc is usually about 1" lower or so.
