I've been looking in older posts and found out that there are slight differences between 03-05 and the 06, but haven't found anything about a '09 bumper on a '04.

I'm having the need of changing my front bumper, and the opportunity of getting this 09 bumper at a low price.

So, here come the questions:

Would it be a direct swap?
If No, would it fit?
If it fits, what adjustments would I need to make?

09 as a 2009 370z?

bumpers for all 350z can be used on any 350z, yes

Actually there are 09 350z (ZRs only). Are you talking about a 370z bumper? If its a 350 bumper than you'll need 06+ fender liners also

All 06+ 350z bumpers fit on the old 03-05 Zs fine. You don't need 06+ fender liners.. There will just be a small, unnoticeable gap

Fender liners can be found cheaply at rockauto.com
