Anyone have any tips on installing a new shift boot? I have the Nismo Titanium Shift **** and i just ordered the Leather Shift Boot with Red Stitching from Steve at Courtesy Parts, and he was very helpful. Any thoughts or install how to's?

i take it you haven't installed your nismo **** yet? that boot you bought is designed for the stock **** which has an O-ring that the 4 boot tabs fit into. it will work with your new **** though. I used a zip tie to attach the top of the boot to the shifter. Basically you just put the boot on the shifter upside down and inside out, attach the zip tie over the where the tabs meet the boot to an area on the shifter where it won't slip (there's a groove you can use), then pull the boot down over the shifter.
