Default Rear Spoiler Help

I have looked at lot of wings on ebay and here. I need real pics, of some of your mounted wings . I really like the vs3 and I know its huge but it really looks cool from the back . I know some of you hate wings but help me out . the nismo replics they sell on e-bay that are abs , will they stay on at speed ? Its nothing for me to run my z up to 145 at times . and what about mounting . some go very high on the rear deck will double sided tape be used there or do they bolt on .
as always thanks for your input !

There are lots of threads with pictures of wings. You could also go up to the photo album tabs and find hundreds of Z's with mounted wings.

When people have been using this site for nearly a decade and have posted hundreds of pictures it seems they don't like to dig through their personal library for someone who is to impatient to do research.

Welcome to the forum anyhow....

(By the way I don't and will never have a wing on my Z)

Well since your a senior citizen i'll be happy to help you out. You want to be careful about aftermarket wings on Z's. I hear about some people not being able to get their trunk lid open because of a wing they put on the car. And I highly don't recommend mounting anything with double sided tape on the outside of your car if you want to keep whatever you are mounting for a long time. Also, if you don't want to run into any lawsuits for any piece of equipment from your car flying into an innocent bystander behind you and possibly killing them I don't suggest double sided tape for a wing. I like these deck lid spoilers because they are a bit discreet and look very nice without disrupting the beautiful shape the Z has.

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/30-7297

Also the Steve Millen style spoiler
http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/350z02d/50-1847

This one also looks good.

I don't think these spoilers are mounted by bolts so you might (MIGHT) be able to get away with double sided tape as I understand that some of the factory deck lid spoilers aren't bolted in. Everything else where the spoiler is too far off the trunk looks ricey and ugly and out of place especially if you don't have a nice rear bumper, side skirts, and front bumper to compliment it.

But if your Z looks like this and can perform like this at high speeds a high wing would look nice and will be great for the high speeds you'll be going ON A RACE TRACK.

Just because you're a middle-aged man doesn't give you an excuse to post useless threads.

From what I've seen the Corvette Forums are set up in a very similar fashion to this one (most importantly, the search function)

I spoon-fed the appropriate answer to your last question because you were being polite at the time (This thread https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/5840...rogrammer.html) & ended it with a solid piece of advice that I quoted in my previous response to this thread.

Searching is not difficult, especially for a man with life experience that I hope you have. I'm sure I was not the only one who assumed you were younger because of your obvious desire for instant gratification by posting questions in brand new threads that have been covered numerous times.

As many would say, rear spoilers all depend on the overall flow of the vehicle.

I agree with most of what Jah70 said above, and you can use the link I provided in my first response to see a myriad of spoilers installed on Z's.

I made a reference thread you should use that pyshin linked you to:

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...ce-thread.html

From there you can search the forum depending on what brand or style that you are looking for, I can pretty much guarantee you that if you have a style in mind someone already has a thread for it but you just need to search for it

EDIT: OP all of your threads are for commonly known topics, please do us all a favor and use the Search function since it is quite robust and there are plenty of threads for your topics

Unless you want to continue to annoy people and they will lash out against you like in this thread you need to do some work on your own

If you need help searching anything please let me know and I will walk you through it before creating topics on easily found info

You want to put a wing on the back of your Z, I really hope you understand the aerodynamics of your car. Just like everyone else said, SEARCH

Lots of options available. please search.

No harm in using double sided tape as long as its good quality like 3M VHB tape. Same tape is used by aircraft manufacturers to mount panels on wings.

As long as we are talking about wings, not a Z but oh well

Studies have shown that newb on newb incidents are the most common.

I love when newbs call others newbs.
