Default Window Hitting Top Pillar Issue

Hey Guys,

I've owned my 03 Z since 04 and have replaced realistically 5-6 window motors in the life of the car....(We all know they suck). The problem that I'm having though recently is new.

For some reason the window goes too high and clips the metal part of the door and I don't know how to fix that. I leave it a crack down but if someone doesn't know...They will shut my door and smash my window for sure. It stopped going up and down on it's own like it's supposed to. Any ideas of what I did?

Seeing you've 5-6 replacements, i'm sure you've performed the reset procedure. Thats the only thing I know of that teaches the window when to stop. So it only goes up too high when the door is open? Does it drop a half inch when open the door like its supposed to?

It doesn't go up or drop at all. It basically stays where I put it and that's all. It did that before as well, but I never had it go this high. Scary **** because if someone gets in...Its going to shatter for sure.
