Just put in a Zenclosure-style sub box with amp mounting panel. Now something just came to me. If the electro-mechanical latch for the rear hatch fails, then I would have no way of popping the hatch. I would also not be able to take off my rear bumper to access the latch directly.

Perhaps I could tie a piece of string to the hatch release and hang it down the inside of the rear bumper and tape it there for emercencies.

Has anyone got any other ideas?

BTW my JDM doesn't have the emergency rear hatch cable.
