the "bmccann101s car gets a new look/ watch me suffer bodywork hell" thread
good stuff - love the idea of running dump lines out. got mine in the trunk and it is loud. gonna fit up the dump mufflers and see how much it tones down. had idea of running out to wheel wells as backup plan, we'll see.

this is all ive got right now.. the body is still really not touched on yet.. i have to get it on the ground to check clearances etc before i start adding the panels back and doing the body work... its slow in coming. in the next 2 weeks i should have it bagged fully and i can go from there.

Needs a different hood imo... will do an 08 style amuse hood. the bumper is zip tied on, and i have to devise something for under the center section, the fiberglass is thin and bows up.. ill need it nice and flat.

they are from canada.
drilled out the rear fenders.. got em hung, still work to do of course, but i wanted a start.

I want to use the OEM gas flap like the LB GTR does, so ill have to pocket this out and re glass it.

lol batmobile tumbler:

wasnt able to bolt in the rear bumper sides w out a lift and helping hands, but the kit fits great aside from needing the bowed out sides pushed in a bit.. all the lines fit solidly otherwise.

zero filler or body work will be requried for the rear bumper... nice.
except the back up camera hole lol.. changed my mind on that guy.
once i get everything hung, i can start marking things and cutting them out for the recessed fenders.. and i plan to build a stupid aggresive rear diffuser set up as well similar to the existing rocket bunny Nissan kit.

built a partition for the trunk to cabin area of 1/8 in mdf and foam backed suede to match other panels.
worlds sh$ttiest picture:

dropped the car off w the rear bumper ziptied on for fitting and for the airbag install.

its taking shape now and moving foward fast.
lots of work to go tho.

All the kit parts will get painted gloss black so the plastidip will stick n peel properly.. but the color will be changed fully. I'm sure it will be black again..but it will probably white or highlighter yellow at one point too Lol.

Been researching functional areas as well..
W the big front splitters.. a guy needs a rear diffuser to keep the @ss planted at speed.. since I'm already venting all my fender pressure both front n rear..
I changed my idea for the aluminum rear diffuser I'll build along w the rest of this thing.
Reminding you.. I am going for over the top.. this car gets little road time..
Full alumalite front splitter w core support stays.
Alumalite side splitters.
Will most likely run an Apr gtc500 w custom chassis mounts at the license plate areas..
Any wants these were just scribbles..
I have plenty of other things to do in the meantime... and things will surely change as I find what will actually fit etc..

Still looks good (imo) with my current wing.. which is nice since I'm not driving around every weekend w a 2000.00 wing on it.
Ppl get easily get industrious with an m6 ratchet and an inability to buy their own wing Lol
