Nismo Wing for $350?
I know there have been a few complaints about Intense Motorsports shipping prices, but they're located a few miles from me. Am I reading this right, $350 for the Nismo wing?

Just a little FYI, www.leeauto.com is taking preorders for the Nismo pieces. They are supposedly genuine parts, I emailed and asked. But for $270 for the wing, it's questionable. They are made out of ABS material though. And all the bumper pieces are made from the same material as the bumpers themselves
Why not buy an Evo-R Type-S REAL carbon fiber spoiler for ONLY $389 (you can save money on painting, if you prefer the bare carbon fiber look, which I personally love it)?
Limited quantity......order yours NOW ( Andy@Evo-R.net )!!!

Japanparts.com and others are selling true Nismo in japan for about $800.00 plus shipping and import fees.
Nismo has yet to release these to the US, so any not via import, and especially these lower cost ones, will be replicas.
The Nismo wings will be made of polyurethane and the replica Nismo style is in fiberglass. Some of the fiberglass replicas have been reported to be well made, while others are not.
IMO It all comes down to buying from a trusted vendor who has a return policy for defective items, or take a risk on a lower price.
Jeff at Performance Nissan had posted some months ago a similar $350.00 price based on early info from Nismo. So unless Nismo decides to raise the rate from pre release info, the price should still be in the same ballpark. We can only hope.

Nismo and the replica/w base use the two outer holes from stock spoiler. It is important that you plug the two inner holes, to prevent water seepage. Both wings require two additional holes just foward of the two outer ones, and the wing base covers to the two inner holes.
If you use the EVO-R you have to patch and paint the two inner holes.
Still the EVO-R with no base is starting to look better to me.
My only concern has been how the paint will hold up on the CF have the shop carves off the top layer to get the paint to stick.

PS. Just to remind anyone who's interest in getting the Evo-R Type-S Carbon Fiber Spoiler, the Promo price of $389 will end on 2-29-04, afterwhich it'll go back to it's retail price of $449. Thanks!

I have a genuine NISMO spoiler and it's not made of polyurethane....it's white shiny fiberglass. I do have a question regarding its installation: the instructions are in Japanese and it came with a roll of foam. Where the tips come close to the car, I think it says to put foam on the bottom of the tips. Has anyone done this or will I be safe to not do it. I know mine is genuine...box, nismo logo inside base, instructions I can't read.
