I need help I have the 2003 non-HID headlights and want to upgrade. I need some recommendations on what would be best! I can't afford the 06+ oem headlights is there anything I can do to my stock headlights to make them brighter? Or do I just need to get a new assembly all together?

 

Buy 03 HID headlights, they are cheap.

 

Get an HID conversion kit. You need an H7 bulb size. I use the kensun kits off amazon. They're like $80 of Amazon and let you pick what color bulbs you want.

 

How much would you be willing to spend for some really good headlights.... I am dumping a pair of 03-05s that I'm thinking about doing a retrofit on

The stock 03-05 HID headlights are not much better than the halogens.....

 

A Halogen to HID conversion kit is much cheaper ($80) and is plug an play. Converting from halogen to HID OEM requires hacking the wiring harness and is NOT plug and play. The cost of the 03-05 HID housings alone are a couple hundred, plus the cost of the ballasts/ignitors/bulbs you'll need to source.
