Default Aerosync N-Style front bumper trouble

Hey guys, I bought an Aerosync front bumper a few weeks ago. I've had it at the shop and was told that they are having a hard time painting the bumper. How did you guys have your bumpers prepared and painted? How hard was the process and did it look like the rest of the car? I'm just getting frustrated because Gruppe-S can't give me any information or suggestions as to how to paint the bumper. Thank you

The rest of the car is being painted as we speak! What is the difference in prep work needed for a polyurethane bumper?

Sand, sand, sand, adhesion promoter, flex primer, sand, primer, sand, paint base and clear, color sand. Your shop is skipping steps if the paint isn't adhering to the surface, I wouldn't trust them to paint an entire car if they lack the experience to paint urethane.

Mine just got back from the body shop (see "trouble at the body shop" thread for a pic) my guy told me the only problem he had out of the bumper was getting it to fit around the headlights properly. After my experience, my advice would be to take it to a shop with lots of experience in fitting body panels. A good shop will be more expensive but you'll be thankful of the quality work.
