What are the prices you guys are seeing on the cost per pint for Lemans Sunset (A17) I got one quote for $190.00 per pint from a local paint shop. Thanks

 

Does this cost sound about right? Anyone with some paint knowledge please chime in.

 

What paint manufacturer and line of paint?

 

I don't have a lot of paint knowledge, and can't help much here, but I can tell you I've seen a number of lemans sunset cars with aftermarket parts and their paint matching was typically pretty poor (almost always too dark). it seems like a tough color to match properly. something to keep in mind if you aren't spraying an entire car.

 

you're fortunate that "lemans sunset" won't have sun issues on a repaint.

 

Too high although it's bee a while since I've bought the color. Last time I bought it I paid around $500 a gallon. But I also added some extra pearl to the formula.

 

Manufacture is PPG line Deltron 2000

 

Shop around that's really high. It's not like it's a color off of their Vibrance line.

 

What's a typical price range? $140-150?

Carpaintonline.com is another I use to give me a rough idea on the price or to look up formula numbers. I believe they show roughly the same pricing as above for this color.
