Default 2006+ 350z Eye Lids (headlight covers)

Has anyone tried putting eye lids (head light covers) on the HR head lights? I just got some HR head lights and was debating about putting them on the housings I got. I put some on my DE (03-05) head lights and it pretty much melted the top of them.

There is no such thing as "HR headlights"

There are 2003-2005 and 2006+

I thought people stopped referring to mods as HR specific after 2009 lol

From the 3M tape?

I don't plan on taking them off until I get rid of the car but I hope I won't have to buy new headlights. I figured it would have some residue which would be a PITA to remove but could come off with a little bit of muscle.

The only eyelids I've ever liked were from Blitz... too bad I can't remember the last time I've seen a set on a Z.

Guarantee you they will have stress cracks under there if its been 3 years. From the eyelids expanding in the heat expanding the plastic. Happened on my old headlights. Like a bunch of tiny lines.
