removing broken power seat (help)
How do I remove a broken power seat? I unbolted the front but how do I slide it forward to unbolt the back 2?
The power does not work in it.

I've always wondered the same thing.
Can you tilt it forward? If so, you should be able to use extensions and universals to stick down between the seat and the wall. If it's the driver seat there are the 2 adjuster ***** on the side. Crank them all the way up so you have more room under the seat, then you should be able to stick your arm under it to pop the cover off the bolt and guide the socket onto the bolt.
If you can't get extensions in there you might be able to operate a wrench under the seat. It's going to be a pain in the *** either way unless someone knows of a way to release the electric motor.

Thank you for the reply.
It's all the way reclined in everyway.
I'm going to try to find some extensions and try to go from under the seat
Any other ideas would be great..

Most of the time the switch fails, not the motor. Under the front of the seat there is a two wire plug.... Disconnect it and use a battery (cordless drill battery, lantern battery, car battery) to manually supply power to the seat motor. If it moves the wrong way, reverse the wires to the battery and it will reverse the action on the seat. After the seat is far enough forward, the rest should be obvious
