Unhappy HELP!!! VS3 wide body fuel door crisis!!!

Anyone know how to install the Veilside V3 Wide body fuel door?

this stupid thing is holding up my D@MN car! The shop has no idea how to mount this thing. They keep telling me that the kit doesn't come with a hinge and that they cannot come up with a proper way to mount it.

Those that have the kit or have seen how the fuel door is attached please hit me back ASAP. if you have pics I would owe you big.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From What I have seen, the stock fuel door does not even come off. For the V3 WB there is a little half piece that gets molded to the stock fuel door. I have seen pics of this. I dont know how your body guys have not figured this out yet.

Even though this post is old but I have to bring this up again! I am currently installing this kit but my shop also cannot figure out how to install the fuel door with the kit??? Wondering if someone can help me out of how to install it probably? Do I install that piece on top of the original fuel door or do I need to take off my original door to install it? Many thanks with help!!!

Sounds like it's attatched to the stock door.

you have to make your own bracket. f150 bracket works well, but anything really works. its a custom thing, need to do custom stuff. you have to remove your oem door and make your own hinge

A good shop should be able to figure it out on there own. It's actually pretty easy to install it.

Is there anything on the kit's portion to attach it? If not, I am going to say that most likely the body shop will need to bond the kit's door portion to the existing fuel door.

Yes there are two screws at the bottom I think you have to drill two holes on the OEM fuel door to attach but my Shop said the add-on fuel door will stick out from the fender???? Thats why both me and the shop are very confuse... help with anyone here using this kit would be appreciate!!! Can show me photos of the outer and inner part will be the best!
