car radio antenna rubber removal
Hi Folks,
I searched the forums and cannot seem to find this answer,
I would like to remove the entire car antenna on the left rear quarter panel of my car. I don't mean to unscrew the antenna, I mean to take off even the rubber part as well.
Does anyone have any idea has to how that is done?

Simply typed in "Antenna Delete" and it was only a few threads down. It is not a round hole so don't think you'll be able to plug it using a drain cap or something, if it were that easy I would have had kits for it

Yeah I read that thread I don't seem to understand king baby's instructions about removing it it sounds like he is referring to the rear wiper blade rather than the actually car antenna rubber
No, he is 100% correct. Go inside the hatch and remove the plastic/foam on the antenna side of the car. Unscrew the antenna. Then unscrew the nut on the antenna base. Very simple. There are 2 10mm bolts on the underside of the fender which you get to from inside the hatch. This is very easy to do.
No, you didn't read that thread. It's obvious he was talking about the antenna.
