It looks like the previous owner had big finger nails because there are scratches on the center compartment latch and on the inside door handle (maybe caused by the seat belts too). Any idea how to fix those scratches? I have a black interior.

You are new so I'll spoon-feed you this one:

The scratches on a 350Z's interior is a notorious and very common issue.

The most common options to fix these imperfections are vinyl wrapping, hydro-dipping, or interior paint.

No matter what you do, sanding smooth/prep work is needed.

The easiest and most economical option would be SEM Color Coat Aerosol (http://www.semproducts.com/color-coat-aerosols/) applied evenly after sanding/prep.

Next time please at least attempt to search, this is a forum for a car that has been around since 2003.. Answers are out there.

It's nbd at all. Restoring interior trim is one of the first things many owners do after they buy their Z's, it's definitely a good DIY weekend project.

If you don't trust your hand at aerosol spraypaint, I'd say look into vinyl-wrapping. But in the end it's your choice.

The interior paint is especially cr*p on early facelift (06+) 350Zs.

I recommend plastidip - straightforward, easy and turned out good!
This is how mine turned out:

 

you can try overlaying carbon fiber over the interior panels. It is a little more work than just painting, but the results look promising for 200 bucks in raw carbon fiber roll and resin which is enough for all the pieces in your interior.

 

That looks just like my scratches except I have fewer. These are great tips. Thanks to all who responded. It is just a matter of picking the best option for my Z.
