Aero helps a lot on our cars for track use, only a few of us track our cars

At what speeds are you driving on a track and what does the diffuser provide, honestly. I auto cross and track with my 69 camaro and not nearly as aerodynamic as a corvette or miata and so on but I beat them all day.

Without a flattened under body, the diffuser is not really doing anything. This coming from formula raceing websites and car and driver.

What class are you racing Corvettes and Miatas in?

No class, just auto cross at crown events, good guys events, optima challenge, chevy events, power tour and others. I don't go to SCCA to compete or run in a class, only to tune suspension for actual events. But scca put me is SS and NOC most of the time. GT1 class is gone now so GT3.

It helps, just not as effective without a flat bottom. Depending on your rules, you do what you have to do.
