Default EVO-R Shift ****

I've ordered this last week and still have yet to receive a confirmation number or anything of that sort from evo-r.net. Seeing how it's not an exhaust or something of that sort (and isn't notified as 'out of stock') I was really expecting to have a confirmation number now.

Searching around I've noticed others have had problems with this guy and his website. Anybody have any idea the best way to contact him? I've emailed him three times, called him more than 4 times, and have yet to hear a response. Any input would be nice for people who've ordered from him.

There are tons of negative threads about evo-r. There is no good way to contact him and most likely you will not receive your shift ****.

You should have done your research before purchasing. Has a horrible reputation. I didn't have a problem with my one time purchase from him luckily though.

You're right on that one--however, in my defense I didn't expect somebody to lag so bad on a simple shift ****.

Luckily, I got in contact with him. I spammed his email probably at least 20 more times after posting this thread. Here's what he said.

"Hi,

We ship parts out by orders. First come first served. Titanium shift **** is in stock. Your order will be shipped tomorrow with tracking number. Sorry to get you upset.

Jay S

EVO-R INC."

We'll see if this actually happens though, seeing how he seems very unprofessional and disorganized.

Hopefully it gets shipped out. Nice parts but horrible customer service. This is why the 2 parts I bought from him I sourced through thezstore.com. They have great customer service.

Anddddd that ratio of shady transactions to smooth transactions continues to get worse. Traditionally (not in the car scene but in life), buying from an authorized seller/business was the safe route while meeting with a private seller was sketchy. For me its has been the EXACT opposite. Every purchase or sale with another member on this forum has been cake while ordering from vendors has been a hassle nearly every time in one way or another.

I had purchased a V1 Lip from him years ago. It was one of the best replicas, but getting in touch with him was horrible. I would never purchase again due to lack of communication. Would take no longer then a few minutes to say hey got your money its on its way....

I was going to buy the lip from him but I did not want to spend so much on shipping when I literally am about 20 minutes from him. He said I could not pick it up from him since the parts come directly from Taiwan. Kind of understandable but just the way it was handled and how long it was to contact him turned me off from the purchase.

Here is my experience with evo-r. His products are good quality but you need to be patient with his service. Order well ahead of when you need it.
With that in mind I will always order from him . I track him down on ebay where he does better because of feedback. He sells them cheaper on ebay too

+1 on the customer service. Wish I would've known they had the shift **** I was looking for. Now I know for future reference.

And just an update... I got the tracking number, and he said it should arrive by next week all the way from Taiwan. We'll see though.
