Default Autometer Gauge Pod

Normally I don't like to post information unless I know something for certain but, in this case I am making an exception. I emailed Autometer to see if they had any plans on making a gauge pod for the 350Z. They responded that while there are no "official" plans, I should expect to see one in the spring since the demand for it is so high. Maybe, if I am lucky, Autometer will have something available before the group buy is complete.

I went by their booth at the World of Wheels show in Chicago last weekend and they said the same thing. I'm getting anxious to install some custom gauges BEFORE the snow thaws.

I know a guy out of Texas that has custom made them. And it is the triple pillar. I have seen the pictures and it looks damn good. He only made one and should me the pictures. But has already made 50 more and they should be ready in about a month.

if someone has a high quality custom pod I can have it duplicated, I have thought about making my own with the DIY instructions and dupicating it. but last I saw there was already a group buy for them, and the price would be well over the 40$ they are quoting. closer to 100-120.

I was going to do that too this weekend but I couldn't find a pod locally. Glad to see yours turned out well. I am looking forward to how that wrinkle finish turned out.

Ares, at this point, I'd pay the hundred bucks! Forty is a great price but only if something is ACTUALLY BEING MADE! This wait is ridiculous! A piece of plastic doesn't take 3 months to develope. Look at what Daking did in a handful of DAYS!

Daking, I think that you are going to get real busy, real quick. Also, where did you pickup the 2 pod unit, I can't seem to find them locally?
