When is the deadline for this contest?
I need to slow down on baking up logos because I have my Property/Casualty Insurance Licensing test to take in 2 days that I gotta study for so I can sell insurance! hehe

lol! Yeah, it catches my eye. Everyone loves sex I HOPE! I was just wanting to imply that it really draws your eye away from the company name. Maybe that's what they want though, I dunno :-)

i like dsmal's barcode one and westby's efforts. the others are nice too but the bar code was a nice idea and the other one just seemed simple but nice looking. I vote for the barcode one, as if anyone cared what i voted for.

I kept mine very simple for the fact that Suite E Grafx is wanting to cut vinyl so I wanted to keep it easy for them to where they won't have to worry about small pieces. With this factor and to make a mark in the long list of other companies that have very reputable logos, I wanted to keep it simple and show off their name and slogan rather than have jazzy effects.
Just my way of creating logos though. It's all in Suite E GrafX's opinion though.

I was curious. . . what was the barcode representing? This company is a GrafX company. . . I would understand the barcode if they were UPS or something :-)

My logo is simple, but it grabs attention. Seems like the red fits it best. Would look good on buisness cards, banners, or on a car. Drop the shadow and could easily be done on vinyl. Would look good on an import model's t shirt too....

I'm not here to rip on anyone Westby, just to give advice and help out Suite E Grafx.
My "big bang" was just a brainstorming idea. I realize they are not an explosives company, lol!
As with the graphic listed above in red, I personally think it's *too* simple and would look like Suite E Grafx just threw something together. To me, there is too much dead space in the middle of your logo that draws away from the concept.
As with the complex logo and the adobe brush. When I ment "Complex" - I ment that there is just alot going on in the logo (it's too busy vs. being simple) Now that I gathered Suite E Grafx's use of the logo, I will be putting together much more simpler examples for them.

WOW
You guys have everybody's head swimming here. I goota say there is a great deal of talent lurking in this forum. These are very difficult choices. I know the contest is supposed to end tomorrow at 9:00 AM, but I am extending it due to pressure from coworkers and others, for two (2) more days. Hope this gives eveyone a bit more time to get their best out.
Please try to keep it a friendly competition. Everything is up in the air right now. No favorites yet. You guys are awesome!!

I take it back, I'm very behind on catching up with my studying on my Insurance Licensing Test for Thursday becuase I got too excited and caught up with this logo design.
Pinnacleliquid.... Deciding on a logo is always very tough to do, especially since you'll be seeing it EVERYWHERE (business cards, vinyl, signs, etc..) I wish you the BEST of luck on deciding which logo is best for your needs.
I will be dedicating a majority of my time the next 3 days for my Insurancing Licensing Test. Let us know who you decide to go with! I REALLY would love to have those CF accents on my Silverstone!
Good Luck for everyone that designed logos for Suite E GrafX. The competition was fun!
Respectfully,
Chris
