Or is it just me? from the pic you posted it looks like the gauges point upwards, but that's APC's fault, not yours
Good spot.

I think that I may just buy a pillar and experiment with just one gauge. I think that the a/f is the only gauge that I would need. What else would you put for a n/a z?

The SRS curtain airbag is in the side of the headliner and not in the pillar. I don't think it would interfere in any way with this.

You have a part # or anything for the APC pod. Is it for a 2 1/16 gauge?

EDIT: Answered own question Part# APC107062 for single 2 1/16 Universal gauge pod

Dude, this is why you got to do it for yourself. Let's see.

Pillar $45
APC Gauge Pod $25 - $35

That's already $80 bucks. You're asking someone to make the pod and wrap it in carbon fiber for $40 bucks. This is what people in the auto industry charge.

Mechanical labor ~ $69 - $89 per hour
Body labor ~ $36 per hour
Refinish Labor ~ $36 per hour

It takes more than an hour to make this part. If you take into account the fiberglass material, just that alone would exceed $120. I say a part like this is worth at least $300. If wrapped in carbon fiber it should be worth more.

i tottaly agree I have all the tools and materials to make this part and wouldnt dream of doing it for people for less than 300.00 plus i think people are a little unaware of the cost of real carbon fiber.

The question was how much would you (meaning I, in this case) would pay. As I am saving my money for a down payment for a house, I am WILLING to pay that much ($120 or so) in the form of a deal or used.... perhaps why I shop on eBay so much.

I already knew my price was not reasonable, but it was my answer to the question.

Coo, I just wanted to give peeps an idea what's involved before concluding that it's too expensive.
