Default Harness install help

I have 5 point harness i Need help figuring out how to get the lap belts installed. The door side looks like I can mount an eye bolt where the oem seat belt was but on trans side what should I do. Also I'm guessing you drill a hole for the belt that goes in between your legs.

Start drilling , also make sure you have backing plates welded in.

Hope you realize you're actually downgrading the safety of your Z by improperly installing a five-point harness. Unless you have a full roll bar with trianglated reinforcements to mount your shoulder harness at the proper level AND have proper mounts for the lap and sub belts, you're just doing it for show. Might as well just tape 'em in there, because in a serious crash, the OEM belts would save you and these will just plain hurt or kill you.

Lots of wanna-bees on here and they should at least know the truth...

Start with that, it all depends on the seat position for a given driver.

These are a good place to start for backing plates:

What kind of seat base are you running? I assume you arent using stock seats since there would be no way to get the belt through the stock seat.

thanks for the link. and dkmura im saving up for a roll cage i know the harness bar isnt the safest but if the shoulder bar is in the right position and anchored down well and the eyebolts are put in securely it should be pretty safe. thanks for calling me out as being a wannabee. but oem seatbelts without airbags seems worse.
