So, I guess I now have a pair of OEM Track edition Carbon Cloth seats with side impact airbags FOR SALE now!

These are the ENTIRE new seats (not leather covers) from our very own DeeZee who sold them to me for a FANTASTIC price.

He has taken great care of these since they feel like BUTTER and are very comfortable and LOOK GREAT!

Thanks Eric!!!

I'll do that. I was so anxious to take the pics that I grabbed my camera about 3 seconds after they were in.

Just a question. Someone (who will remain nameless....***wife***) says she didn't like the color combination of the white with my Brick.

I was hesitant to buy them at first because of this. I had originally wanted either all black or maybe even a brickyard-like color for the inlaid part (the white).

Please be honest here. Does anyone think I should have gone with a different color or do you like the white.

Thanks

To be honest, I probably would have tried to color match the seats as closely as possible to Brickyard. But hey, it's your car! So all that really matters is whether or not you're happy with the seats.

How does the color combo look in person?

Ahhhhh, definitly not my style. (referring to the pumpkin color in that link)

I think they look fine and to quote my 11 year old son, "COOOOL"

My wife and my 13 year old daughter didn't like them. Said it "didn't match" the rest of the car.

i had consider doing that ALOT! (in white though) but since i work on jets all day, i get pretty dirty sometimes. seems like it takes 2 days to completly wash off 1 days work!? i was too scared to have a white shift boot/steering wheel. but if i had a job that i could stay clean all the time, i wouldve done that a LONG time ago! each his own though. mabey some white grapics would help her like it better?? women like/need to accerise!! j/k!

I'm neutral on it. I would prefer a gray that matches the roof, or all black, but I don't dislike it either.

Now you got me thinking.

Is there any way to get say, a gray or black inlay leather piece done?

I really like them, I'm just theorizing for the future.

i guess you could talk to katzkin, and see if you can send them the kit off of your seats, and have them change it? there is a dealer for them on this forum i belive? i dont know if they will, or what it would cost since they would have to undo the kit to replace it? or you could just buy a whole new kit for $400-$500ish (i dont remember the vendor price?), and since your new seats already have a kit, you could just switch them yourself. the hard part is getting the stock cloth off, but its already been done. then you could sell the black/ppw kit, and make back most of the $$ you spend on the new kit. just an idea though. i still think they look realy nice in your Z though. sorry you dont like it as much as you thought you would.
