I just bought seats and a harnesses and then realized when their here that I need a harness bar or a roll cage. I rather go with the roll cage, can anyone provide me with a link to a roll cage made for a 2004 350zr. Looking for the cheapest possible

Sparklecityhop is the only one with a rollbar in a ZR that still had a functional top. A couple others have caged the car, but they were not street driven vehicles

You'd really be better off going to a reputable race car shop in your area and getting an estimate on a properly done, weld-in cage. It'll be stronger, more functional and fit better than anything else. I favor putting money into craftsmanship and not postage, but hey, that's me.

Getting a harness bar for 350zr
What size bar will fit? 47-51'" are the sizes I seen. Also anyone knows the cheapest for the best price bar to get? Not a crazy driver, just got new seats and harnesses for pretty much show, and didn't realize I needed a harness bar too. I looked into some brackets that can hold the harness up but I could only find pics and not the actual bracket so if anyone knows please let me know. Rather buy some brackets the blow an extra on a harness bar for more protection when I'm never going to be in a situation where i'll really need. Thank you for your help and god bless

Most of the ZR owners seemed to be pretty smart in the past, so it doesn't seem like it has been done yet.

I got my Z at a fairly young age (19) but never even came close to putting crap on my car to save a buck. That was 8 years ago though and the community was noticeably different back then. The Z's were modified properly. I remember shortly after joining, I came across Leemik's red Z with black LE37's, made it my desktop wallpaper, and then from that point I was dead set on prioritizing quality when it came to my car.

Seriously. What in the fck is going on with the modding scene these days? Are other platforms having this same problem? It's like 9 times out of 10 we're getting questions like "Budget for wheels and tires is 900, whats the best brand?", "Found a deal on these bride knock offs and fake takeda harnesses, good idea?", or "Anyone ever heard of Ultimate Extreme Performance Racing exhausts? Cheapest one on ebay, deal is too good to pass up!"

Its sad when kids put style and looks before their safety. And when you tell them its a stupid idea, the just tell you "hater gonna hate." Ive seen these cheap crap fail and it a horrific outcome. I wouldnt recommend these parts on my worse enemies.

There's a line, expensive doesn't always mean qaulity, and cheap doesn't always mean garbage. I've seen plenty of home built cages (cheap) that I would rather be inside then some bolt in or cages made from shop (expensive) not on a z. But we all know that over time and as a name gets to big for itself the qaulity goes down.(not always)
