Default Climate Control Questions

HI Guys,

Its been a while since I've posted on here, mostly from living out of the country and not being able to get out in the car.

Ive searched this forum and had a hard time coming with with a similar situation so i figured i would post and see if some of the experts had any ideas.

The Car is a 2006 Touring model with climate control.

My Climate control is acting up, and doing some funny things. the main problem is the blower motor doesn't seem to come on right away. Sometimes it will work right away, but other times it may take 10-15 min to start working. when it does finally decide to work it seems to stay on without problem. i have tried taking it out of "Auto", and manually setting blower and temp and this has no impact.

Playing around with it I've managed to come up with a few other things that may be helpful in the diagnosis.
-The blower does come on when the car is in acc mode, i can manually control blower speed, and what vents without issue.
-AC works (when car is running), and you can hear and feel it come one (when blower is working)
-Ive checked all fuses and they are fine.

It started acting up about 2 years ago but living out of the country i just parked it, hoping a little hibernation would fix it lol. That didn't work.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

More than likely, it's a fault in the HVAC control box, located behind the control *****. Disassemble that section and you'll find the white control box with a ribbon cable connecting it to the controls, it's pretty easy to replace (but not so easy to diagnose as it's a sealed unit).
