Default Racing seat install: Passenger pressure sensor question

I am 6' 3" tall and when I sit in my 2007 Z my hair brushes the roof. I have gotten to the point were spending $500 is worth it to fix the problem. I am going with reclining Cipher auto seats (yes I know they aren't Recaro or Sparco but they are cost effective) I'm also going with Planted. My question is this - The new seats don't have pressure sensors in them so when the pressure sensor harness is left uncoupled on the passenger side it comes up with the seat belt error on the dash. Also, and more importantly, it deactivates the passenger side airbags! I don't mind looking at a red light on the dash but when someone T-bones me and I have a passenger I want them to be protected. Can someone who has aftermarket seats and has gone through this help me please?
