So I am looking to buy my first 350z and Ive been looking for awhile now and I have landed on one I am really interested in but it has this bar in the back of it and I'm new to the whole sports car thing. anyone know? thanks in advance!

 

It's a harness bar, for sports seats, like 4 point harnesses used in race cars.. looks out of place with stock seats in it though...

Chances are this car was seriously abused as a track toy, personally I'd pass just cause it probably been beaten on pretty good.

 

I have heard that using those harness bars isn't good since that would be a strong point (humans being the weak point) in an incident. If the rest of the car checks out mechanically I think it would be a safe purchase.............



Except for that it's the wrong transmission......

True, well your probably right anyways, a harness bar won't work too well with stock seats.... So obviously you were up to some freaky stuff in there trav... That's a tight spot for that kinda stuff man.

Lol, that may work XD I for one know its near impossible to do anything in that car, best way to even get close is one person in the car and the other has to stand out of the car lololol.
I guess this is where the g35 would shine!
