I agree that the STYLE of the pod is exactly what I want. It's just the texture that I don't like. If you can make a flat black/gray to match the COLOR of the pillar, I would like it better I think. In other words, much smoother texture.

Doc,

For you...Of course I can..But flat black wont look as good either considering it will be smooth..I can do a smooth primed one and you can do the finish you like..

"I" can't do anything. I have no skillz when it comes to painting and sanding things! If you leave it to me it would be one lame looking pod for sure!

The more I think about it, the more I may just want to do this:

(not the pillar pods but the two gauges below the climate control *****)

So you want a Smooth finish with flat black or textured but dull??I can give it a shot when I get the pillars in a week and Ill send you one when its done..If you dont like it send it back.
