I really really like the ARES interior dome lights, but dont really want to spend $55+ per light for two lights, it's just not worth that much to me. Does anyone know of any other quality white bulbs/LEDs that could be used? Thanks.

you do know its 55 for a pair Ill also have a set with single LEDs for 25-30.

you can find regular LED festoons on autolumination. they also have blue tinted "hyper white" filiment bulbs.

ares- so whats the benefit of what your going to be selling for 55 compared to what autolumination would sell for less than half of that?

Take it from me, I own a set of ares lights and also a couple sets of the cheapy LED lights. Im running 2 single LED super white LED lights to my license plate and there is just enough light to show the plate (it actually looks kinda cool that way). If it were any dimmer I would probably get a ticket (who knows, I still might). I also have a super white LED 194 bulb in my trunk with 6 LEDs on one bulb. I can tell you for a fact that ares single LED bulbs are brighter than any of these.

Definitely worth the extra $$ IMO for places where light output is a factor.

Heres a pic of the license plate. Ares, maybe u can put a pic of your plate up showing how much brighter it is.

yeah I need to, I have 2 orders outstanding, if they both come today, Im set and will have lots of fun things to show.

Im thinking of reworking the turn signal design so 1. it works and 2. its quicker to make, and thus cheaper. also Ill have an example of the green LED cause I know everyone here has been waiting and thinking, ehhh the whites nice, but how is green?

Truck = 194 bulb... it should be modified so it points a different direction. There's enough room to rig a Luxeon Star there and use the bulb base as a "connector"
