Painted headlight housing mod question
So I've read the guides on how to open the headlights, picking a good heat-resistant paint, etc. Now I was thinking of doing something a bit different, but still keeping the dark look, and thought about hydrodipping the headlight housing carbon fiber or something similar. A lot of places say they have an automotive quality finish/clear coat, but will this be heat resistant enough to use in the headlight housing, or would it crack/peal/worse?
EDIT: If their finish isn't good enough, could I simply buy a heat resistant satin clear and apply on top of the dip?
