Shaved front bumper
Hey, all. I've done several searches on what material I should use when it comes time to fill in the pits and gouges of my front bumper before it goes into the shop for paint.
Another thing I can't seem to find any information on is how I might go about shaving the front bumper of those awful side marker lights. I'd prefer to not use bondo, but if that's the best route to go, please let me know.

They're required by federal law, I'm fairly certain. That's why you'll see most just use the clear ones as the best alternative.

Plastic weld, its been done before and looks okay. I believe they are required by DOT from the factory. I've never heard of anyone here getting pulled over for having a v2 or other aftermarket bumper without the reflectors.

Side marker lights are in the headlight assembly. The reflectors in the bumper and technically you need a front reflector or some sort. The headlights do not actually have a reflector in them
