Hello ZzzFam,

I'm looking to replace the tai lights in my 2003 Touring 350z. The problem is the new tai lights are LeD's and it doesn't look like an easy plug and switch convertion.

Has anyone had any experience in switching these over? And will I need to purchase some form of kit for the LeD plug in to convert to the current power source?

Currently on Z. Light bulbs pulled out.

 

You could cut and splice, not what I would do but it would work. Keep your stock tails, those are ready to catch fire here.

 

You need to transfer the actual bulb harness from your old lights. The new lights plug into that, which plugs into the car.

 

Just don't , there have been issues with those lights over the years.

Why not switch over to 06 leds. More clean look imo

 

More concern with the turmor the lights have than anything else really...

 

I never liked eBay lights....
