hey fairlady, how's your car mods coming along?

my prototype does not look like a celica wing... there was a celica parked in the lot outside when i went to pick it up, and I compared... the wing tips on this drop lower, the shape/curvature is different, and there is also a funny U-shaped "ridge" on the celica one which looks kinda ugly IMO

the legs though do look similar... but they also look like the ones on a tiburon (also parked outside) ... I'm not surprised though since they told me they'd be using an OEM-style/generic mold for the legs anyway

 

Hi Onii - the price he quoted for my SINGLE wing was 890... which is how much I had to pay to get this prototype finished... he had to charge me the full price in case I didn't come back with the group buy...

The group buy price will be (shop's quote) around 400-450 cdn... 290-320 USD... but I'll need to call and confirm once we get the final number of orders... the only reason it's so cheap is because they already had a mold for the mazdaspeed wing which looks similar

Anyway like I said, i test fitted it on my Z, and it looks awesome... probably as close to japan pics as I could have hoped... now if i can only find a neighbour that has a data transfer cable for my fuji digicam...

what's the time span we have to order this by? i JUST ordered my injen CAI (came in today)....so im low on money as of now.

I'd like to take orders until the 21st... or when we've got 6... if you're really interested, pm me and maybe i can pay first or something... but i'd be doing a favour and i'll probably need a deposit since the money would be going to the shop, not me...

i have one of these wings in SB if your interested. i have pics of it lying on my z, i never installed it. its used & has some nicks & such. no problem if you plan to repaint it though for another color z. its been sitting in my room for months.........may stick it on ebay. email if you want to see pics: myz8a4re@aol.com

Why be so conservative?

I would like to see a Z with a higher wing, like the one Integra type R uses...

 

oh, I lied, the wing above is just a universal wing.

The one I was thinking of was the Mugen one. The pic below is a replica.
it is not that low, it's not that high, perfect.

 

It might just be too sqaure for the roundish behind of a Z. wonder what it would look like on a G
