Pretty much same as yours just with red stitching. They send me a pic of my wheel too.

I had him do a custom flat top as well as the flat bottom.. upped the price a bit, but will be worth it.. also having him carbon cover my upgraded 06+ audio and cruise control covers

since i'm still undecided about my caliper color ( and hence the interior stitching spec color), I asked him to stop before applying the grip material, stitch color, or center stripe color..

Too many choices on this car lol

I also paid for carbon audio and cruise control covers but at the time (3 weeks ago) they said they had no core for audio and cruise and ask if I either wanted to get a refund or send in mine to have it done. I ended up just getting a refund on that part.

Finally took the car out for a drive today.

So this is answering Brian's question from a while ago,
The steering feels pretty similar to OEM but you can still feel the weight difference from the OEM wheel. So going from your keys wheel to this should be exactly what your looking for.

Its definitely different getting used to the flat bottom. You feel it a lot when you're turning during normal driving. Overall it feels fantastic to drive with. Perfect hand positions for spirited driving as well as just cruising down the highway relaxed with one hand on the wheel.

Do you send in a code or does this guy make these from scratch?

When you place your order, for an extra $50 you dont have to send a core or return your core after you get the new wheel.

I didn't pay an extra 50 dollars unless there listing price of 599 already includes the core charge.

Its possible that it was included. Or they may send you a return mail label for you to put your old wheel in. Not sure if you spoke with them about the specifics or not

I know most of the posted photos are a bit washed out w daylight, but would you call this grip material black, or a dark gray?

It is black, just not quite as dark as the carbon portion of the wheel

Also because I haven't seen it mentioned on here or their website. The back of the top carbon fiber has these finger indentations. I never seen this before, thought I add to the info.

New wheel looks amazing. +1 on the tablet also. You have a link to a DIY and where you purchased the console?

Wow, I saw this in Steelcyclone's [awesome] build thread and then found my way here. Thanks OP!!! This is is what I've been waiting for. I'll have to message them. My car's red and black so I'll definitely go with the red stitching.. And I'm tempted to do the 06+ wheel controls in CF... How much was that and please post pics asap.

I still love my 7 even after 10 years (bought it new), but was always disappointed in the noodle-thin steering wheel. What a great way to update the look of the interior.

I also do not want a knurl on mine..
