I know this has been ask an I知 sorry, I知 getting confused when I look up the right bulb for my headlights, on the parts list at the shop it shows both options, i believe I have HID factory headlights (enthusiast) giving me many many options there, an I知 going with some new headlights ordering soon, an my question I guess is 03-05 HID same as 06-09 HID? I see the 6pin and 8pin issues but assuming the 6pin halogen only coming in the base? I should be good, but does that mean that actually 03-08 HID models all have same connector? Hear that the 06+ headlights are by far the best an that痴 what I知 wanting to go with but iv got the 03 just wondering what issues I知 gunna be running into, thanks for help an answers, and if anyone has any recomendations for new black housing headlights be cool too, wanted to go with 6k white bulbs same time. Thanks again.

 

The 06-08 HID headlights are different and I assume the bulbs are as well. Check with the vendor to make sure, but depending on what year your enthusiast Z33 is, you'll want to go with the correct year (either '03-05 or '06-08).

 

Well I see where everyone is going for the 06+ headlight cause they are a single bulb hid headlights, and people in the 03-05 years are going up to the 06-08 years an using theirs, just trying to confirm that the connector of the years are The same

 

I understand they are different but everyone in the older years are going with the 06+ cause it痴 a single bulb hid, and the only issues I知 reading about connectors is the 6pin-halogen and 8pin-hid that would make me assume that all hid models have 8pin an that would mean the 6pin is halogen, that痴 my question, an I herd only base in early years had the halogen headlights, and I知 fairly positive mine are hid Question I guess is all 03-08 hid is a 8pin connector? And the only other option would be the 03-05 halogen 6pin?

 

The only headlight that has a 6 pin connector is the 03-05 halogen (base model).

Are you talking about changing your bulbs or the entire headlight?

The 06-08 headlights are a direct swap if you have an 03-05 HID.

If you're just replacing bulbs, the bulbs are different. 03-05 uses D2R. 06-08 uses D2S.
