Default Need help aligning new headlights.

Im very confused, I think I may have faulty HID bulbs but the majority of light is coming from the drivers side, the passengers side is sorta emitting just two ***** of light. Also the line that the drivers side headlight is producing, isnt straight. Now, the ceramic cathode thing sorta broke during installation in the passengers side headlight, would that be why its mainly producing two ***** of light?

Are these OEM or aftermarket?

A few things/tips: 1) the cutoff line should not be a straight horizontal line. It should be stepped. This is on LHD in order to prevent blinding oncoming traffic. On RHD models, the step is flipped. 2) If the light output is not uniform and there are noticeable “*****” of light, it’s likely the bulb is not seated correctly. 3) if the cutoff and flicker is not as sharp as you would like it, then the projector lens probably needs to be spaced or adjusted.

I’m not sure what cathode thing you are referring to, but make sure you are using the correct bulbs as well. For instance, D2S as opposed to D2R.

Uhh, they're technically aftermarket I suppose, but I specifically went for OEM style ones, I can link it here. I was wondering if that step was intentional so thank you for clearing that up. That must mean that the bulb that was damaged is messing up the conformity.

The blue ceramic tube thing is what I''m referring to as being broken, it cracked and isn't one whole piece anymore.
What I purchased.

Also, is there another gear that I can turn to adjust them? I only see one and it adjusts up and down.

Yea I've tried that one. I think it may be that one of my bulbs is damaged so my light is uneven.

You might have the horizontal adjustment ****, and you might not. I do; but some oem housings won't. You'll have to see if yours do. Here's the location.

The ***** of light are generally referred to as "hotspots." These are typically caused by the bulb not being seated correctly. A more atypical problem could be some type of deformity in the projector bowl, but that is less likely.

If you think you messed up the bulb, try swapping bulbs from one side to the other. If the messed up light pattern follows the swap, then the bulb is the culprit.

+1 on Morimoto bulbs from TRS if you don't go with the OEM Philips. Since you're using the 03-05 housing, the D2R is the correct type, but I believe you can use D2S as well. The main difference between the two is the narrow strip on the D2R.

I'd start with getting better bulbs. The matsushita ballasts are known to not work well with non-oem bulbs (anything other than phillips or osram). Morimoto is the only non-oem brand recommended by TRS.
